Heavy rocket fire in northern Israel

On Tuesday, numerous rocket alerts were announced in various towns in northern Israel.

Additionally, missile sirens sounded in Haifa on Tuesday morning, after which the launch appeared to be intercepted.

The military later said the alarms were raised over false identification. The sirens were activated after the interceptor was deployed and for fear of debris falling from the interceptor. The IDF added that the incident was being investigated.
