Tim Walz Breaks Down Trump’s ‘Losing’ Fight Against His ‘Strange’ Attacks

Tim Walz on Thursday mocked former President Donald Trump for “explaining” his concerns about the Minnesota governor’s “bizarre” attacks.

“There’s a saying in politics: If you make excuses, you lose. … Donald Trump has explained 11 times, 11 times, that he’s not weird,” vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris told reporters, drawing laughter from the crowd at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

He continued: “I think we’re bothering them a little bit.”

Trump, in the first part of Fox News’ “town hall” on Wednesday, repeatedly referred to the “bizarre” description Walz gave of him and his vice presidential candidate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), during the campaign.

“He’s weird, I’m not weird, he’s weird. No, he’s a weird guy, he’s a weird dude,” Trump said of Walz in an interview with Sean Hannity.

Walz responded to Trump’s frustration with the word “weird” by quickly dropping a summary of the GOP candidate’s approach to his 2024 campaign.

“It’s not a matter of name-calling or anything, I wanted to make the point that it’s weird to be fascinated by people’s personal lives. It’s weird to be fascinated by people’s health care choices,” Walz said, referring to the GOP ticket.

“It’s weird to still talk about sharks and batteries and boats and things like that.”
