Johnny Depp showed off his latest transformation in style while partying in the Caribbean on Aug. 29. The 61-year-old actor showed off a new set of pearly whites in a series of Instagram posts from a Bahamian bartender at Lorraine’s Cafe in Exuma.

Star Jeanne Du Barry went viral when the film premiered at Cannes in May 2023, where social media users noticed that his teeth looked brown, discolored, and even rotten. “Seeing this picture of Johnny Depp’s teeth on my tl just ruined my mood. That’s enough for me on Twitter,” one fan wrote Page six. In 2012, Depp said LA Times that he insisted on wearing gold teeth caps to play Captain Jack Sparrow, which Hi the journal theorized that this could have caused permanent damage to the teeth.

Now, based on footage from Depp’s stay in the Bahamas, it looks like the actor has freshened up his smile with some major dental changes.

Depp’s fans commented that the actor, who said he “doesn’t need Hollywood anymore” during his appearance in Cannes, looked “happier and healthier than ever” in the photos and videos. Another noted that he had apparently undergone dental work. “Am I right (sic) that his teeth are brighter than ever before???” one fan asked, while another said, “He definitely got his teeth done! He looks so good.” Another asked, “Is that ke (sic) or does his teeth look straighter?”

Depp seemed delighted to help the bartender mix drinks. He even referenced Captain Jack Sparrow’s famous quote from Pirates of the Caribbean“I know why rum disappears,” Depp joked, tasting a shot of rum punch. “It hasn’t disappeared yet, but I know how to make it disappear.” He encouraged the bartender to “copyright” his signature drink.

Although Depp is considered a controversial figure following his public divorce and defamation trial with Amber Heard, during which each actor accused the other of physical violence, Edward Scissorhands The star’s fans have been supporting and defending him for a long time.
