Two more Trenton health officials lied about overtime to earn money, federal officials say

The federal government on Wednesday charged two former senior Trenton health officials with conspiring to fraudulently pay overtime wages for themselves and three co-workers, charging documents say.

Martin Moore and Andre Trott were charged in U.S. District Court in Trenton with conspiracy to embezzle, steal and obtain by fraud city of Trenton funds, indictments allege. Moore also was charged with lying to an FBI agent during an investigation.

Moore was the chief environmental health officer in the Environmental Health Office in the city’s Department of Health and Human Services. Trott was the senior environmental health officer in that office.
