YU wants to expand its influence

A year after Yeshiva University introduced an innovative online education program, it is expanding its reach again. The school’s newest online arm, known as YU Global, has forged a new partnership with Hillel Yeshiva High School, while also expanding its partnership with the Chief Rabbi of England and Chabad emissaries.

YU Global focuses on rapidly developing high-quality, skill-based courses using AI technology and online learning experts, enabling students and companies to thrive in a dynamic job market. It offers both individual certification programs and customized corporate training solutions.

The main goal of this inventive approach is to support learners at every stage of their career. It doesn’t matter if they are pursuing a new field, looking for their first position, pursuing a new profession or developing in their current environment. YU Global also offers tailored training solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises looking to reskill their employees.

By harnessing the power of ethical AI in content development, YU Global acts as a bridge between traditional education and the rapidly evolving job market. This approach promises to put learners ahead of others in their fields with cutting-edge practical skills.

Dr. Danielle Wozniak, vice president of global initiatives and business strategy at YU, explained what motivates the school.

“YU Global’s goal is to create advanced learning opportunities that benefit communities around the world,” she said. The school seeks to meet students “at every stage of their lives.” YU Global has formed partnerships with Jewish nonprofits, businesses and other organizations, while also creating curricula tailored to their specific needs. She called them “a testament to our university’s leadership in innovative, online and hybrid education.” She also noted YU’s “innovative use of technology” to meet the diverse needs of students.

The school offers flexible, affordable and convenient academic and professional training, using the power of ethical AI in content creation, ensuring that students are up to date with innovations in their fields and have the latest practical skills.

Individual participants can access these courses directly through the YU Global platform or through partner organizations that organize the classes themselves.

Partnering with Hillel Yeshiva High School in Ocean Township, NJ, YU Global is also transforming high school education. It provides students with cutting-edge online training programs for paralegals and financial professionals at a professional level. These are typically reserved for college-level education. These certification programs will equip students with immediate and in-demand skills in today’s competitive job market. This will allow them to secure summer internships. It will also open doors that were previously closed to high school graduates.

“We’re not just preparing students for college,” said Beth Chesir, director of marketing and recruiting at YU Global. “We’re preparing them for life. This program combines a traditional high school education with the real-world skills that employers need.”

YU Global hopes to expand its revolutionary program to other cutting-edge high schools across the country, potentially changing the landscape of high school in America.

Working with England’s Chief Rabbi, Sir Ephraim Mirvis, YU Global aims to enrich Judaism worldwide through the Shalem Fellowship. It combines online learning with traditional Torah study to empower future Jewish leaders around the world. The Fellowship will feature teaching from distinguished London rabbis, as well as visiting scholars from the faculty of Yeshiva University. “This program represents YU Global’s innovative approach,” said Rabbi Mirvis. “We are excited to offer our scholars the opportunity to explore Judaism through a global lens, under the guidance of leading voices. This fellowship allows students to deepen their understanding of Judaism while continuing their education in a flexible, global framework.”

YU Global also announces “The Shluchim’s Tool Box: Communication and Counseling,” which will equip Chabad emissaries with the necessary skills to identify and address mental health issues that people may experience due to the stresses of modern life. The curriculum combines the teachings and wisdom of Lubavitcher Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, z’al, with contemporary intervention and referral techniques.

YU Global is also announcing the “Shluchim Toolbox: Communication and Counseling,” which will equip Chabad emissaries with the basic skills to identify and address mental health issues people may be experiencing due to the stresses of modern life.

In this course, emissaries develop a broad range of responses that allow them to provide compassionate support and guidance to those who need it. “YU Global looks forward to transforming the educational landscape with other forward-thinking institutions that meet the quality standards of Yeshiva University,” Wozniak said. She added that YU Global looks forward to transforming the educational landscape with “other forward-thinking institutions that meet the quality standards of Yeshiva University.”
