Chrysler just got its turn in the spotlight that Maserati has been enjoying lately. The American brand’s product line is limited to just one minivan, and it’s been a while since we last heard any news about what’s coming. CEO Chris Feuell killed the Airflow electric concept that was supposed to launch this year in favor of an updated model with a new name and design. Back in February, we were treated to something red and sporty-looking, and then we got a look at the Halcyon EV concept , which the automaker called an “inspiring vision of the future” that, honestly, could be considered an updated version of the 1987 Lamborghini Portofino concept (from when Chrysler owned Lamborghini, because the more things change…). The lack of public movement led Frank B. Rhodes Jr., great-grandson of Walter Chrysler, to make a public offer to buy Chrysler and Dodge from Stellantis, which Stellantis publicly rejected, saying, as it had done with Maserati, that the brands were not for sale. And the bidding did not end.

Here on Earth, Chrysler dealers have just one new vehicle for sale for the 2025 model year: the Pacifica minivan in standard and plug-in hybrid versions. Updates are limited to revised trim levels. Non-hybrid 2024 Pacifica trim levels are Touring, Touring L, Limited and Pinnacle. On the PHEV side, there’s Select, S Appearance, Road Tripper, Premium S Appearance and Pinnacle. For 2025, the non-hybrid lineup welcomes the Select name introduced with the Pacifica PHEV, followed by the Limited and Pinnacle. Both Touring versions are gone. The PHEV drops everything but the Select and Pinnacle, at least for the beginning of the model year.

The S Appearance package will be standard on the non-hybrid Limited and optional on the Select PHEV when equipped with the Premium Group. The 2024 Pacifica PHEV does not offer the Premium Group; for 2025, this package will include cosmetic upgrades to the S Appearance, Uconnect Theater and Sound Group, dual-pane sunroof, wireless charging, and Safety Sphere Group.

Finally, the Select equipment versions with both drive systems also offer an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, one-touch opening of the second-row windows, a universal garage door opener and high-quality carpet.

Early pricing is unchanged for carryover models, with the exception of the Limited due to additional standard equipment. Suggested retail prices for 2025, assuming the current $1,695 delivery charge carries over, and the differences from 2024 are:

  • To choose: $44,145 (new version)

  • Limited: $51,265 ($995)

  • Peak: $55,930 (unchanged)

Let it be known that the 2024 Pacifica Touring starts at $39,645, the Touring L at $41,805, which means the base price of the Pacifica has increased by almost $3,000. In addition, these prices include front-wheel drive. Buying all-wheel drive increases the price by $2,995.

On the hybrid side:

  • Select PHEV: $52,750 (unchanged)

  • Pinnacle PHEV: $61,480 (unchanged)
